CROSS Services At Bethlehem SUFFOLK, June 21. - Funeral services for John Paul Cross were conducted at 4 p.m. yesterday at the R.W. Baker and Co. Funeral Home by Rev. F.L. Baker, of Oxford Methodist Church, and Rev. R.E. Brittle, of the Bethlehem Church. The pall was of white gladioli, red roses, blue delphinium and baby’s breath, and the Oxford Church choir sang, "Old Rugged Cross," and "Lead Kindly Light," accompanied by Mrs. Faye Ware. Rev. Baker read the poems, "House By the Side Of the Road" and "Why Shouldn’t I?" Active pallbearers were W.F. Whitley, George Smith, Leon Saunders, J.A. Foster, J.R. Vann, Raymond P. Boyer, Major Banton and George Hudgins. Honorary pallbearers were members of the board of stewards of Oxford Church, members of the Suffolk Lodge of Elks and W.T. Myrick, Dempsey Frazier, Robert Winborne and R.W. Daughtrey. The rites at the grave in Cedar Hill Cemetery were in charge of Suffolk Lodge No. 685 B.P.O. Elks. John Paul CROSS, salesman for B.L.
