Crocker were conducted at 5 p.m. yesterday at the Suffolk Christian Church by Dr. John G. Truitt, pastor, and Rev. F.L. Baker, pastor of the Oxford Methodist Church. The pall was of white gladioli and red roses and active pallbearers were Pelham Trotman, J.R. Vann, Dr. J. Parker Cross, Floyd Benton, Hall Birdsong, James Crocker, R.R. Harrell and Melvin Lovelace. Members of the Ladies Benevolent and Social Union of the Christian Church and other women's organizations attended in a body. Honorary pallbearers were deacons of the church. Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
