W.A. Grissom. Burial with Masonic rites was in Holly Lawn Cemetery, Suffolk. Pallbearers were Howard Bailey, Holmes Copeland, W. Ray Lee, Jean Woodward, James Beale, James R. Morris Jr., Russell Johnson and Clyde Vaughan. Crocker, 52, died on a heart attack Monday, Dec. 25 while attending a family reunion near Windsor. A native of Isle of Wight County, he was the son of Willie T. and Mrs. Emma Bland Crocker. A member of Windsor Baptist Church, and Windsor Masonic Lodge - Purdie 170, he was a shipfitter at Newport News Shipbuilding and Drydock Co. for 27 years. He was Past Master of Zuni Masonic Lodge and a member of Central Hill Hunt Club. Surviving are his wife Mrs. Gladys Robinson [sic; Robertson] Crocker; two sons, Lloyd Earl Crocker, Windsor; one daughter, Mrs. W. Dan Holly Jr., Suffolk; two brothers, W. Harvey Crocker, Zuni and Bennie R. Crocker, Hemet, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Blanche E. Hundley, Suffolk and Mrs. Eula M. Garris, Windsor; and five grandchildren.
