Carter, were conducted yesterday afternoon at the funeral home of I.O. Hill and Company by the Rev. R.E. Brittle. Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery. During the funeral rites, Mrs. Wallace Brinkley and Rev. Brittle sang, "Asleep In Jesus." Mrs. Brinkley also sang a solo, "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere." The casket was covered with a pall of pink rosebuds. The child died Tuesday morning at the home of her parents in Nansemond.
