Curle of Somerton, died Sunday at 11:20 p.m. Eastern Standard time at her home after a long illness. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 3 p.m. (E.S.T.) in Reynoldson Baptist Church by the Rev. Billy Pressley, pastor. Burial will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery, Suffolk. The body will be taken from the Baker Funeral Home to the church one hour before the funeral services. She was a member of Reynoldson Baptist Church, the Woman's Missionary Society of the church and the T.E.L. Bible Class. She was the daugter of the late Charlie Carey [sic*] and Martha Underwood Parker of Hertford County, N.C. Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Ernest Franklin Curie and Epenetus Cure of Whaleyville; four daughters, Mrs. Estelle Etheridge of Portsmouth, Mrs. Frances Alexander, and Mrs. Raye Umphlette of Eure, N.C., and Mrs. Gayle Holland of the home; three brothers, Isaac Parker, Collin Parker and Joseph Parker of Murfreesboro, N.C.; two sisters, Mrs. Travis Coley of Stem, N.C., and Mrs. Dave Northcott of Colerain, N.C.; 18 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
