Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at R.W. Baker Funeral Home in Suffolk. Rev. John C. Mitchell will officiate and burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Carroll lived at 4612 King St., Portsmouth, and was formerly a resident of Suffolk. He was retired at the time of his death. Before retirement he was associated with Atlantic Creosoting Co. of Portsmouth. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Laura C. Castello of Portsmouth and Mrs. Rosa Mountcastle of Chesapeake, and four brothers, E. Lee Carroll, James L. Carroll and C.J. Carroll, all of Suffolk, and Jack Carroll of Crestview, Fla. Carroll was the son of the late George Everette Carroll and the late Mrs. Jincy Turner Carroll and husband of the late Josie Bulls Carroll of Suffolk.
