She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. W.M. Brodess, of Nansemond County, Mrs. Jennie Ereland, of Willow Spring, Mo.; two brothers, Andrew Depoy, of Bainbridge, Ohio; Clarence Depoy, of Bourneville, Ohio. Several nieces and nephews in Ohio. She was a native of Ohio, and had been in Virginia 17 years. She was a practical nurse and had many friends throughout Nansemond County. The body was brought to the funeral home of I.O. Hill & Company, where funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon by the Rev. R.E. Brittle. Interment will be in the Bethlehem church cemetery. D.Cert. 22092 (Franklin #77) gives b. Roth Co., OH. Her parents, Charles P. & Mary (ELLIOTT) DEPOY, are buried in Twin Township Cemetery, Bourneville, Ross Co., OH. Her father (1831 - 1911) was a Union veteran, having served as a sergeant in Co. D, 81st OH Infantry. He was wounded 3 Oct 1862 at Corinth, MS, and discharged for disability 19 Mar 1864. He filed for a pension 24 Mar 1875, and his widow (1839 - 1920) filed 19 Aug 1911.
