HERBERT WESLEY DAVIDSON 

  Herbert W. Davidson, 73, of the 400 block of Sharp St., a retired salesman, 
died April 5, 1990, in a hospital.

  Mr. Davidson, a native of Aulander, N.C., was a Baptist.

  Survivors include five sisters, Nellie D. Cowand of Virginia Beach, Marie 
Lassiter of Colerain, N.C., Fannie Carlisle of Norfolk, June Culpepper of 
Portsmouth and Shirley Fitchette of Jacksonville, Fla.; and three brothers, 
William G. Davidson of Newport News, James C. Davidson of Portsmouth and 
George A. Davidson of Virginia Beach.

  The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Kellum Funeral Home by 
the Rev. Bill Kincaid.  Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suffolk. 
Friends may join the family from 7 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home.

  Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Fund.
