Davenport, of Nansemond County, died tonight at 7:15 o'clock at a local hospital. She is survived by, in addition to her husband, three children, Richard, Albert, Jr., and Louis Davenport; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. G.W. Williams, of Nansemond County, and a sister, Mrs. J.D. Parker. The body was removed to the funeral home of R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral arrangements are pending. ****************************************************************************** Davenport Rites Set Tomorrow At 3 P. M. Funeral services for Mrs. Georgia Williams Davenport, who died last night at a local hospital, will be held tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock the Bethlehem Christian Church with the Rev. R.E. Brittle conducting. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be H.L. Joyner, William Joyner, Talmadge Pruden, David Nelms, Fred Nelms and Edward Parker. Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband, Elbert J. Davenport, of Nansemond county; three children, Richard, Everett [sic; Elbert] Jr., and Lois Davenport; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. [sic; G.] W. Williams, and a sister, Mrs. J.D. Parker. ****************************************************************************** Mrs. Georgie W. Davenport Suffolk, Sept. 17. - Funeral services for Mrs. Georgie Williams Davenport will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at Bethlehem Christian Church, by the Rev. R.E. Brittle. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The procession will leave funeral home of R.W. Baker and Company at 2:30 p.m. for the church.
