Duke Miss Dora Elizabeth Duke, 64, of 329 Pinner St., died Saturday in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Isle of Wight County and the daughter of the late Henry E. and Mrs. Dora Lankford Duke. She is survived by an aunt, Mrs. Lucille L. Bradshaw of Carrsville; and cousins, nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held today at 2:30 p.m. in Cedar Hill Cemetery by the Rev. Henry Chaney. The body will be taken from Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home to the cemetery at 1:30 p.m. ****************************************************************************** DORA ELIZABETH DUKE SUFFOLK - A funeral service for Dora Elizabeth Duke, 64, was held at 3:30 p.m. Monday in Cedar Hill Cemetery by the Rev. Henry Chaney with Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Duke died Saturday in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Isle of Wight County. Survivors include an aunt, Lucille L. The 1950 Census - Suffolk, Nansemond Co. - gives unable to work. Her parents were first cousins, grandchildren of Henry Harrison & "Sallie" Sarah Mariah (GARDNER) DUKE. Henry Harrison DUKE (1827 - 1908) was a Confederate veteran, having served as a private in Co. F, 61st VA Infantry. He is marked in Beaver Dam Baptist Church Cemetery, near Carrsville.
