All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ Rites Friday For David Duke SUFFOLK, March 7 - Funeral services for David Duke, 76, who died last night at the home of his son, Presley [sic; Pressley] Duke, at Nurneyville, will be held at 3 p.m. tomorrow at Cypress Chapel Christian church. Besides his son, he is survived by three daughters, Mrs. W.L. Babb, of Nurney Siding; Mrs. E.D. Rawles, Buffalo, N.Y., and Mrs. Minnie Rawles, of Richmond; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, and a half-sister, Mrs. Otelia Coleman, of Newport News. The body was taken to the Hill Funeral Home where it will remain until 2:30 p.m. tomorrow, at which time the funeral procession will leave for the church. Rev. R.E. Brittle and Dr. I.W. Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
