Washington Street, Suffolk, Monday at 7:30 a.m. He was a son of the late John Henry and Mrs. Mattie Missouri Holland Duck of Isle of Wight. He was employed by the State Highway Department. Surviving are his stepmother, Mrs. Mary Duck, of Zuni; two sons, Charles Marvin Duck, U.S. Army, Germany, and Wayne Morris Duck of Newport News; two sisters, Mrs. Willie Carr of Walters and Mrs. B.A. Babb of Zuni; four half- sisters, Mrs. Luther Bresnell of Norfolk, Mrs. Marshall Cox of Hampton, Mrs. Curtis Altman of Jacksonville, Fla., and Mrs. Fred Underwood of Franklin; a brother, John I. Duck of Zuni; three half-brothers, Fred Duck of Zuni, Arthur Duck of Windsor, and Randolph Duck of Carrsville. A funeral service was held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the I.O. Hill and Co. Funeral Home by the Rev. Robert B. Marr. Burial was in Holly Lawn Cemetery, Suffolk.
