Holland & Sons Funeral Home by the Rev. Carl Lee Ousley of Holland Baptist Church. Burial was in Holly Lawn cemetery, Suffolk. Pallbearers were Walter Johnson, Elliott Johnson, Everett Holland, Preston Holland, Clarence Daughtrey, Harvey Councill, Lewis Smith and R. Wilkerson Holland. Daughtrey, 88, a retired farmer, died in Franklin hospital Sunday night. He was the husband of Mrs. Ethel Holland Daughtrey and a son of Robert Calvin and Mrs. Frances King Daughtrey. He was a teacher 25 years in the Men’s Bible class of Holland Baptist Church. Besides his widow, surviving are a son, Dr. Walter Franklin Daughtrey Jr. of Courtland; a grandson, Walter Franklin Daughtrey III, and a granddaughter, Miss Patricia Mary Daughtrey, both of Courtland.
