Annie J. Dixon

   SUFFOLK - Annie Maye Jones Dixon, 90, of the 400 block of W. Constance 
Road, died Jan. 25, 1990 in a Franklin nursing home. 

   Mrs. Dixon, a native of Nansemond County, was the widow of Dennis Ray 
Dixon.  She was a member of Oxford United Methodist Church. 

   Survivors include a son, William L. Jones, Sr. of Suffolk, five 
grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

   The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Cedar Hill 
Cemetery by the Rev. John L. Hoke.  R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home is handling 
arrangements.

Annie Maye Turner Jones Dixon ( 10/16/1899 - 1/25/1990) was the second 
   daughter of Emanuel Lafayette Turner and Annie L. Howell Turner. 
   Annie was previously married to Larry Earl Jones (4/24/1892 - 7/23/1972). 
   Dennis 1m. Christine Virginia Turner, 16 Apr 1923 in Gatesville, 
   Gates Co., NC.
