Dozier, wife of W.A. Dozier and sister of Supervisor Frank E. Parker, died at the home of Mr. Parker at Cypress Chapel last night after a long illness, aged 65 years. Mrs. Dozier was well known in Suffolk and the county, and was a woman of many fine traits of character. Generous, hospitable and kind to both friends and neighbors, her death will be a great loss to the community. She is survived by her husband, W.A. Dozier; one brother, Frank E. Parker; a niece, Miss Cornelia Parker of Suffolk, and one nephew, James Parker, of Hopewell, Va., besides numbers of other relatives. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 3 o’clock at the residence at Cypress Chapel, and will be conducted by Rev. B.F. Black of the Christian church.
