Isle of Wight native succumbs 

  John Henry Dailey, 81, died Sunday at 2:35 p.m. in Obici Memorial Hospital 
in Suffolk after a long illness.  He was a farmer. 

  A native of Isle of Wight County, he was a son of Michael G. and Mrs. Anne 
Nelms Dailey of Chuckatuck and the husband of the late Mrs. Cora Lee Thompson 
Dailey.  He was a member of Oakland Christian Church and Men's Bible Class. 

  He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. G.W. Morgan of Suffolk, Mrs. Donald 
L. Howell of Norfolk and Mrs. H. Eugene Delk of Smithfield; three sons, J.M. 
Dailey and J.W. Dailey of Suffolk, and W. Shelton Dailey of Chuckatuck; a 
brother, R.E. Dailey of Norfolk; nine grandchildren and three great-
grandchildren. 

  A funeral service was conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Oakland Christian 
Church by Dr. William T. Scott.  Burial was in the church cemetery.
