Goodwin and William J. Work. Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Dr. Goodwin read the poem, "Crossing the Bar," by Tennyson. A pall of lilies and pink roses covered the casket. Active pallbearers were R.O. Walker, John Vincent, M.O. Spence, G.A. Nimmo, Thomas Woodward, Rawles Woodward, Carr Hill, and J.L. Cuthbert. Friends, former associates and neighbors were honorary pallbearers.
