JOSEPH THEODORE DALTON 

  Suffolk, Nov. 29 - Funeral services for Joseph Theodore Dalton, for 34 years 
agent of the Norfolk & Western in Suffolk, were conducted this afternoon at 
the residence in Brewer Avenue, by Dr. H.J. Goodwin and William J. Work. 
Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

  Dr. Goodwin read the poem, "Crossing the Bar," by Tennyson.  A pall of 
lilies and pink roses covered the casket.  Active pallbearers were R.O. 
Walker, John Vincent, M.O. Spence, G.A. Nimmo, Thomas Woodward, Rawles 
Woodward, Carr Hill, and J.L. Cuthbert.  Friends, former associates and 
neighbors were honorary pallbearers.
