Claude J. Dennis Sr. Buried Today 

  Funeral services for Claude J. Dennis, Sr., who died Monday at Fort 
Lauderdale, Fla., were conducted this morning at 11 o'clock at the Baker 
Funeral Home by the Rev. George S. Lightner, pastor of Main Street Methodist 
Church.  Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery. 

  The casket was covered with a pall of pink carnations, blue Dutch iris and 
acacia. 

  Pallbearers were W. Hill Kilby, Jesse A. Harrell, Marshall Andrews, William 
M. Birdsong, Sherman G. Howell, Holmes R. Butler, Jr.. Frank E. Butler, Jr. 
and C.P. Holland, Jr.

b. 5 Nov 1871, Salisbury, MD, d. 3 Feb 1958, Fort Lauderdale, Broward Co., FL, 
interred in Cedar Hill Cemetery*, Suffolk, 7 Feb 1958,
