Dunston, died this afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jasper Oliver, on Military road. She is survived by another daughter, Mrs. J.A. Johnson, of Carrsville; two grandsons, A.D. Johnson and Jack Oliver, Jr.; a sister, Mrs. Lucy A. Johnson, and two brothers, W.T. Bradshaw, of Crewe, and R.E. Bradshaw, of Suffolk. The funeral will take place Friday at Western Branch Baptist Church. ******************************************************************************* Suffolk, Aug. 22 - Funeral services for Mrs. Emmeline Dunston, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jasper Oliver, of Suffolk, were conducted Friday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock at Western Branch Baptist Church, of which Mrs. Dunston had been a life-long member, by the pastor, the Rev. J. Sidney Cobb. The hymns, "Abide With Me," "The Old Rugged Cross" and "It Is Well With My Soul," were sung by the choir. The casket was covered with a pall of lilies. Mrs. Dunston was the daughter of the late Joshua and Emeline Bradshaw, and is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Jasper Oliver, of Suffolk, and Mrs. J.A. Johnson of Carrsville; two grandsons, A. Dunston Johnson and W.J. Oliver, Jr.; a sister, Mrs. Lucy A. Johnson, of Windsor, Va.; two brothers, W.T. Bradshaw, of Crewe, and R.E. Bradshaw, of Suffolk. Active pallbearers were W.T. Bradshaw, Zollie Johnson, A.S. Johnson, of Smithfield, Jasper Oliver, Milton Johnson, Howard Johnson, Sherman Roberts, Junie Bradshaw, and Emmett King. Burial was in the church cemetery.
