All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ ALBERT GEORGE DARDEN Suffolk, Dec. 6 - Funeral services for Albert George Darden widely known and beloved resident of Driver, who died Sunday night, will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock at the grave in Cedar Hill Cemetery, by the Rev. O.M. Clarke and the Rev. Edward P. Miner. Active pallbearers will be nephews of the Mr. Darden: Garland Towe of Elizabeth City, N.C.; Edgar Towe of Wilson, N.C.; Durwood Towe, of Washington; Forest Towe of Charlottesville; Vivian and Douglas Darden of Hertford, N.C. and William Darden, of Norfolk. Friends and neighbors will serve as honorary pallbearers. Mr. Darden is survived by a daughter, Mrs. R. Moore Williams, a stepson, Charles T. Everett; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Walter Hurff and Miss Edna Everett; four grandchildren; Robert H. Williams, Emily Ann, Walter F. Jr. and Hinton Darden Hurff, all of Driver and a number of nieces and nephews.
