ELLA EURE DARDEN

   Suffolk, May 21 - Mrs. Ella Eure Darden, aged 59, died at her home near 
Gates, N.C. at 5:20 o’clock this afternoon following a brief illness.

   She is survived by her husband, Garland C. Darden; three daughter, Mrs. J.L. 
Felton and Miss Myrtice Darden, of Gates, and Mrs. Martin Tinkham, of Eure, 
N.C.; one brother, T.A. Eure, of Gates; one cousin, Master William Darden, of 
the home; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

   A member of Cold Spring Baptist Church, Mrs. Darden was active in religious 
and social affairs of her community.

   Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 3:30 o’clock at the residence 
by the Rev. B.A. Mitchell and the Rev. R.E. Brittle.
