Rites Held Saturday For James R. Darden 

  Funeral services for James Ryland Darden were conducted Saturday [sic; 
Sunday] at 4 p.m. at the graveside in the Holland Cemetery by the Rev. C. 
Carl Dollar, pastor of the Holland Christian Church, and the Rev. Carl L. 
Ousley, pastor of the Holland Baptist Church. 

  The casket was covered with a pall of blue Dutch iris, jonquils and acacia. 

  Pallbearers were Emmitt L. Rawls, Jules Rawles, William N. Holland, George 
D. Underwood, William Mason Jones, Dr. John W. Norfleet, L.P. Waldo and 
Joshua Pretlow.
