Darden Dead SUFFOLK, Feb. 26 - Mrs. Janet Withers Darden, 66, was found dead at her home in College Court this morning. Mrs. Darden is survived by her husband, William Herbert Darden, three sons, William Herbert Darden, Jr., Austin Taylor Darden, Robert Withers Darden, one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Darden Pierce, of Alexandria; six grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. ****************************************************************************** WILL HOLD DARDEN RITES WEDNESDAY Services To Be Held At St Paul's SUFFOLK, Feb. 27. - Funeral services for Mrs. Janet Alexander Withers Darden, 65, who was found dead at her home in College Court at noon yesterday, will be conducted Wednesday at noon at St. Paul's Episcopal Church by Rev. Louis A. Haskell. She is survived by her husband, William Herbert Darden; three sons, W.H. Darden, Jr., and A. Taylor Darden, of Suffolk, and Captain Robert W. Darden, U.S. Army, of Fort Monroe; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Darden Pierce, of Alexandria; a brother, J. Thorton Withers, of Suffolk; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Austin Chinn Withers, of Suffolk, and Mrs. Missouri Taylor Riddick Withers, of Rock Castle, Campbell County. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, the Randolph Society and Woman's Auxiliary of the church and of the United Daughters of Confederacy. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. ****************************************************************************** MRS. JANET DARDEN TO BE BURIED TODAY Suffolk, Feb. 27 - (AP) - Funeral services for Mrs. Janet Withers Darden, member of an old Virginia family, will be held tomorrow at St. Paul's Episcopal Church here. Mrs. Darden died Monday. She was a native of Suffolk, daughter of the late Austin Chinn Withers and the former Missouri Taylor Riddick. Besides her husband she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Carroll Pierce, Alexandria; three sons, William Herbert Darden, Jr., Austin Taylor Darden and Robert Withers Darden, USA; a brother, J.
