JANET ALEXANDER WITHERS DARDEN

MRS. JANET DARDEN TO BE BURIED TODAY

   Suffolk, Feb. 27 - (AP) - Funeral services for Mrs. Janet Withers Darden, 
member of an old Virginia family, will be held tomorrow at St. Paul’s Episcopal 
Church here.

   Mrs. Darden died Monday. She was a native of Suffolk, daughter of the late 
Austin Chinn Withers and the former Missouri Taylor Riddick.

   Besides her husband she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Carroll Pierce, 
Alexandria; three sons, William Herbert Darden, Jr., Austin Taylor Darden and 
Robert Withers Darden, USA; a brother, J. Thornton Withers, of Suffolk, and six 
grandchildren.
