Baker and Company funeral home, conducted by the Rev. I.W. Johnson, the Rev. N.F. Hunt and the Rev. Fred Holden. Burial was in Cedar Hill cemetery. Active pallbearers included A.S. Hargrave, Thomas Ladd, Herbert P. Harrell, J.E. Ames Jr., H.B. Casney, Quinton Brothers, Carl Baynell and James Everett Hargrave. D.Cert. 26184 (Sleepy Hole #108) gives her parents as John Christian Munford & Bettie Pierman Wilcox. The informant was her daughter Russell Louise (EVERETT; Mrs. William Quentin) BROTHERS of Whaleyville (1906 - 2000). It gives b. Providence Forge, which is in New Kent Co., but the family records indicate Charles City Co. Her parents were John Henley MUNFORD & Mary A. PEARMAN, who m. 30 Dec 1875 in Charles City Co. Her widowed father, a sawyer, accidently drowned in the last week of 1889, age 40. (Richmond City D.Reg. 1890 #1460) Louise was adopted by Thomas Llewellyn & Louisa (CHRISTIAN) CHRISTIAN. They are buried in Bethany Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Charles City Co.
