Everett, near Driver, Nansemond County, and removed there from his beloved wife, Mrs. Mary E. Everett, aged about thirty-eight years. The deceased had been suffering for several weeks with Bright’s disease, and her death was not unexpected. She leaves a husband and six children, the oldest being about sixteen years of age. The funeral took place at Berea Christian church on Tuesday morning, Rev. W.W. Staley, D.D., of Suffolk, conducting the services, and the remains were brought to Suffolk and interred in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Mary Elizabeth (SIPE; Mrs. Elisha L.)
