Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Eason died yesterday morning at 10 o'clock at her home [in] Portsmouth. She was the widow of Charles Thomas Eason and the daughter of the late William Jackson and Sarah Elizabeth Powell Jackson. She was a native of Chowan County, N.C., but has made her home in this section of the state for the past 31 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Leonard L. Lao and Mrs. R.E. Roberts, Jr., both of Portsmouth; a son, C.R. Eason of Portsmouth; six grandchildren. Bertie (POWELL WILLIAMS; Mrs. Charles T.)
