Rites Held For Mrs. Edmonds 

  Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Cuthriell Edmonds, of Eclipse, who died 
Sunday in Patrick Henry Hospital after a long illness, were conducted 
yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the R.W. Baker Funeral Home by the Rev. 
R.E. Brittle. 

  The pall was of lavender and white asters.  Pall bearers were Jesse E. 
Matthews, Clyde Hogue, J.L. Gray, D.M. Daniel, G.B. Martin and W.H. Trench. 

  Burial was in Mt. Zion Christian Church Cemetery at Crittenden.

*The 1900 Census - Chuckatuck Dist., Nansemond Co. - gives b. Oct 1878; 
   m. 8 yrs, 0 of 2 children surviving.  Most of the data for her husband, 
   at the bottom of the previous page, is illegible, except that he was an 
   oysterman. 

Her parents were Newton W. & Julia CUTHRIELL. 

Her sister Rebecca Sarah (CUTHRIELL; Mrs. Joseph H.) WRIGHT (1885 - 1942) - 
   Clarence's mother - is buried in Riverside Cemetery, Norfolk.
