ANNIE LEIGH ELEY

   Suffolk - Mrs. Annie Leigh Eley, 96, died Monday afternoon in Hillcrest 
Nursing Home.

   A native of Clarksville, she was the widow of A.S. Eley and a daughter of 
Dr. John R. Leigh and Mrs. Mary Coles Carrington Leigh.

   She was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.

   Surviving are two nieces, Mrs. J. Webb Pinner Sr. of Suffolk and Mrs. Cedric 
Gran of Little Rock, Ark.; a nephew, Dr. William Taliferro of LaGrange, Ill. and 
great-nieces and nephews.

   A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in Cedar Hill 
Cemetery by the Rev. James H. Newsom Jr. of St. Paul’s Church. The funeral 
procession will leave R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home at 10:20 a.m. Wednesday for 
the cemetery.
