Hill Funeral Home. Dr. Luther B. Grice, pastor of the Holy Neck Christian Church, will officiate. Burial will follow in the Holy Neck Cemetery. ****************************************************************************** Mrs. Mary Ellis Buried Yesterday Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Anne Miles Ellis, resident of Nansemond County who died Thursday morning at a Norfolk hospital, were held yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at the Hill Funeral Home. Dr. Luther B. Grice, the Rev. D.N. Vore and the Rev. R.E. Brittle conducted the services. W.W. Darden, accompanied by Mrs. Julian Goodwin, sang "No Tears in the Sky." The choir of Holy Neck Christian Church sang "The Old Rugged Cross." Rev. Vore read the poem "Crossing the Bar." The pall was of Easter lilies pink carnations and baby’s breath. Pallbearers were O.J. West, John Avis, Willie Foster, Watkins Darden, Leon Outland, Eddie and Harvey Worrell and Edward Harris. Burial took place in the Holy Neck Christian Church Cemetery.
