He had been ill six weeks. He is survived by his widow, Mr. Kate L. Eure, and three children, Mrs. Hersey Smith, Jesse B. Eure and George Eure, all of Nansemond County; a grandchild; three sisters, Mrs. Early (Emily) Eure, of Suffolk; Mrs. Polly Eure and Mrs. Ella Darden, both of Gates County, N.C.; two brothers, L.A. Eure, of Norfolk, and Charlie Eure, of Suffolk; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Eure was an active member of the Windsor Masonic Lodge and will be buried with Masonic rites. The funeral service will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. at Bethlehem Christian Church by the Rev. R.E. Brittle, the Rev. J. Sidney Cobb and Dr. W.W. Staley. Burial will be made in the church cemetery.
