Folk Suffolk, Feb. 12 - John S. Folk, 57, died today at 3 p.m. at his home, 323 Stinner [sic; Pinner] Street after a long illness. He was the son of the late Ernest L. Folk and Mary W. Folk, of Suffolk. He is survived by his wife, Ellen G. Folk; three sons, John S. Folk, Jr., of Chincoteague, William W. Folk, of Norfolk, and Wilkinson R. Folk, of the United States Air Force; one daughter, Mrs. Anne Nichols, of Norfolk; three grandchildren; a sister, Helen M.L. Folk, of Suffolk; and a half-brother, E. Garnett Folk, of Suffolk. For many years he was manager of the E.L. Folk Hardware Company, in Suffolk. The body was taken to the R.W. Baker and Company Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. ****************************************************************************** Funeral Pending For John S. Folk Funeral arrangements for John S. Folk, 57, who died yesterday afternoon at 3 p.m. at his home at 323 Pinner Street, after being a semi-invalid for years, are still pending. He was the son of the late Ernest L. and Mary Wilkinson Folk, of Suffolk and for many years was manager of the former E.L. Folk Hardware Company. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ellen G. Folk; three sons, John S. Folk, Jr., of Chincoteague, Va.; William W. Folk, of Norfolk, and Wilkinson R. Folk, United States Air Force, stationed at Brookfield, Texas; a daughter, Mrs. Ann Nichols, of Norfolk; three grandchildren; a sister, Miss Helen M.L. Folk, and a half-brother, E. Garnett Folk, both of Suffolk. The body is now at the R.W. Baker and Company Funeral Home. ****************************************************************************** JOHN S. FOLK Funeral services for John S. Folk, who died Thursday night at his home on Pinner Street, will be held this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the R.W. Baker and Company Funeral Home. Dr. Duane N. Vore, pastor of the Suffolk Christian Church, will conduct the services.
