Mrs. Fulgham had been sick for some months and suffered a great deal, but it was thought by her friends that she was on the road to recovery. In fact, she had recovered sufficiently to get up from her bed and walk about the house, and on the morning she died, she arose and had walked from her room into the hall. An attendant who was preparing breakfast, heard her groaning and before she could summons the neighbors her spirit had taken its flight. The deceased had been a resident of Suffolk many years and was a consistent member of the Baptist Church being an attendant upon the services of the church when her health permitted until the time she was taken to her bed during her recent illness. She exceeded her willingness to die, if it was the Lord’s will, and gave evidences that all was well. She is survived by two sons, J.L. Fulgham, of Suffolk, and June Fulgham, of Daytona, Fla., the latter arriving here Thursday only in time for the funeral. The funeral was conducted from the residence Thursday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock by her pastor, Rev. R.A. McFarland, and the interment took place in Cedar Hill Cemetery. The pallbearers were: Active - W.J. Kendrick, W.C. Harrell, Mansfield Batten, W.J. Herrick, G.A. Turner, R.R. Harrell. Honorary - Donald McLeod, Zebedee Kelly, B.L. Saunders, Dr. W.A. Almond, W.H.
