CLEMENTINE M. FERGUSON Suffolk, Aug. 10 - Funeral service for Mrs. Clementine Martin Ferguson, church woman and active in social and club activities of Suffolk, wife of Edwin Carl Ferguson, were conducted this afternoon at 4 o'clock at the funeral home of I.O. Hill & Company by Dr. A.L. Franklin, pastor of Main Street Methodist Church, in which Mrs. Ferguson held membership. Mrs. W.F. Whitley and Miss Katherine Powell, with Mrs. Julian Goodwin accompanying, sang " Love That Will Not Let Me Go." The pall was made of red roses and white gladioli and fern. Active pallbearers were James H. Saunders, Blackwell Cross, J.H. Debnam, W.C. Ferguson, Fenton Ferguson, Charles B. Pond, Sr., John A. Vincent, and Bruce Eberwine. Honorary pallbearers were members of the L.M. Lee Bible Class of Main Street Methodist Church. Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Among the relatives and friends from out of town were Mrs. R.M. Clark, of Martinsville; Mrs. G.C. Clanton, of Tappahannock; Miss Charlotte Beverly, of Petersburg; Mrs. Marion White, of Reidsville; Mrs. J.P. Gill and Dr. R.O. Rodgers, of Bluefield, W.Va.; Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Ferguson, Fenton Ferguson, Miss Linda Lee Ferguson and Mrs. Hagood Hill, of Murfreesboro, N.C. Clementine Hester (MARTIN; Mrs. Edwin C.)
