FRAZIER Suffolk, Oct. 22 - Funeral services for William R. Frazier, Suffolk business man and native of Isle of Wight County, who died suddenly Sunday morning at his home on Bank Street, were conducted this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the home by the Rev. H.A. Bagby, a friend and former pastor assisted by the Rev. H.J. Goodwin, pastor of the First Baptist Church. The Rev. Dr. George Wesley Jones read the hymn "Lead Kindly Light" at the funeral services, and at the grave the Rev. H.A. Bagby read "Crossing the Bar". The casket was covered with a pall of pink roses and lilies of the valley and there were many handsome floral tributes including a wreath from the American Bank and Trust Company, in which organization Mr. Frazier had served for 23 years as vice president and board member. Active pallbearers were George F. Whitley, Hugh L. Holland, Dr. F.J. Morrison, Dr. J.E. Rawls, William M. Crumpler, Jr., Carlton Butler, Sr., W.H. Walker and P.M. Burton. Friends of the family served as honorary pallbearers. Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery. William R. Gates Co., NC).
