Baker and Co. Funeral Home by the Rev. George D. Alley, pastor of the Suffolk Christian Church. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. She was a member of the Suffolk Christian Church and a native of Nansemond County, though she spent most of her life in Suffolk. She was the daughter of the late Jethro Riddick and Julia Ann Brinkley* Franklin. She is survived by several nieces and nephews: Mrs. J.P. Shearer of Washington, Ralph Byrd of Indianapolis, Indiana; Mrs. F.E. Butler Sr., Franklin E. Bradshaw, Mrs. S.P. Kirkpatrick and Miss Jamie Felton, all of Suffolk; and several great nieces and nephews. ****************************************************************************** FRANKLIN FUNERAL RITES Funeral services for Miss Diana O. Franklin were conducted yesterday at the R.W. Baker and Co. Funeral Home by the Rev. George D. Alley, pastor of the Suffolk Christian Church. Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were Frank E. Butler Jr., H. West Butler, Pretlow Brinkley, James Pritchard, Franklin Bradshaw and Jerome Felton.
