MARY ISABELLA "BELLE" JACKSON GOODWIN 

   MRS. BELLE J. GOODWIN 

  Mrs. Belle Jackson Goodwin, 95, a resident of 124 Howard Place, died at 
7:35 a.m. today (Thursday) in a Portsmouth nursing home. 

  A native of Hertford, N.C., she was the widow of William Walter Goodwin and 
a daughter of the late Lemuel [sic*] and Mary Arps Jackson. 

  She was a member of Main Street Methodist Church. 

  She is the survived by one son, Julian E. Goodwin of Suffolk; two 
grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. 

  A funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in I.O. Hill & Company 
Funeral by the Rev. John Teter.  Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. 

  The family will be at 124 Howard Place.
