Clyde Finley. Burial was in Olive Branch Cemetery with Snellings Funeral Home in charge. Pallbearers were M.L. Garrett, G.L. Copeland, Walter Forehand, John Furman Jr., Ray Hollowell, John Duncan, and Foster James. Goodrich, 63, of 18 Bradley Avenue, died Tuesday at 6:55 a.m. in a hospital. A native of Nansemond County, he was a son of William B. and Mrs. Hattie Jones Goodrich and the husband of Mrs. Susie Adams Goodrich. He was a retired automobile mechanic and a former operator of Goodrich Auto Service on Airline Boulevard Portsmouth. He was a charter member of Grove Park Baptist Church. Beside his widow, he is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Venita Griffin of Franklin and Mrs. Edith Ann Mitchell and Mrs. Paige Heise of Portsmouth; two sons, Wesley L. Goodrich Jr. of Portsmouth and Charles R. Goodrich of Franklin; two brothers, Joshua B. Goodrich of Norfolk and J.G. Goodrich of New Bern, N.C.; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
