GENTILE DIES AT AGE 29 YEARS Well-Known Young Men Succumbs to Five-Year Fight Against Tuberculosis; Funeral Friday At St. Mary's. Lorenzo Gentile, aged 29, died this morning about 3:30 o'clock at his home, 205 S. Main street. Death ends a fight of more than five years against tuberculosis. Mr. Gentile was well known in this city, having spent practically all of his life here. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. N.A. Gentile moved to Suffolk from Philadelphia, where Lorenzo Gentile was born. He graduated from Suffolk high school and secured a connection with Planters Nut & Chocolate Co. When he was forced to resign on account of increasing illness, he had risen to a responsible position. Mr. Gentile is survived by his widow, Mrs. Minnie Brandon [sic; Branton] Gentile; a daughter, Dorothy Gentile; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. N.A. Gentile, all of Suffolk; a brother, Sam Gentile, of Philadelphia, and a number of relatives. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 4 o'clock at St. Mary's Catholic Church, of which he was a member. The rites will be conducted by the Rev P.C. Blackburn.
