Larry Gomer Rites Held Yesterday 

  SUFFOLK, Feb. 22. - Funeral services for Larry Gomer, infant son of Mr. 
and Mrs. Jesse E. [sic; S.*] Gomer, of Whaleyville, were conducted at 3:30 
Wednesday afternoon at the Holy Neck Christian Church by Dr. John G. Truitt, 
pastor of the Suffolk Christian Church. 

  Music was rendered by the church choir accompanied by Mrs. J.C. Davidson. 
The casket was covered with a pall of white carnations and fern, and active 
pallbearers were Otha Gomer, Lyman Gomer, Willis Eley and Joseph Worrell. 
Burial was in the church cemetery.
