Mrs. Goerger was a native of Isle of Wight County, the wife of the late James N. Goerger and the daughter of the Late Josiah and Susie Pinner Worrell. She was a member of the Woodland United Methodist Church. Surviving are four sons; James N. Goerger, Jr., Smithfield, Richard Worrell Goerger, Smyrna, Del., Robert Daniel Goerger, and Thomas Felton Goerger, both of Windsor; one sister, Mrs. James W. Tucker, Hampton; one brother, Felton P. Worrell, Windsor; also one grandson. Funeral services were held Sat., August 1, at 2 p.m. from the Colonial Funeral Home, Smithfield, by the Rev. Robert Moore, Pastor of Woodland United Methodist Church and the Rev. Glenn Williams, pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church. Interment was in Holly Lawn Cemetery, Suffolk. Pallbearers were James W. Tucker, Jr., Leland Duck, Ray Duck, Gene Worrell, J. Frank Worrell, Jr., Fred Worrell, Elvin Worrell and Eldridge Worrell. Margaret Frances (WORRELL; Mrs. James N.)
