PRUDEN GARDNER Suffolk, Sept. 19 - Mrs. Bertha L. Gardner, wife of J.L. [sic; J.F.*] Gardner, died at Eastern State Sanitorium at 5 o’clock this morning. She is survived by her husband, J.L. Gardner, and three children, James Oliver, Fleetwood L. and Willie May Gardner; her mother, Mrs. M.V. Pruden, also seven sisters, Mrs. W.S. Powell, Mrs. Irving Johnson and Mrs. Frank Gurley, all of Suffolk; Mrs. Caswell R. Six, of Richlands, Va., and Mrs. Talmage Hobbs and Miss Lillie Pruden, of Suffolk. (HOLLAND) GARDNER, are buried in Beaver Dam Baptist Church, Isle of Wight Co., VA.
