Gardner Sr., 305 Cedar St. A native of Isle of Wight County [sic*], she was the widow of David Gardner and the daughter of the late Frank M. Turner and Mrs. Susie Webb Turner Robertson of Southampton. She was a member of Antioch Christian Church the Ladies Bible Class, L.F. Sunday School Class and Church Choir. She was a member of Planters Club and worked 25 years as forelady at Planters before retiring. Besides her son with whom she made her home, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Whitley of Zuni; a sister, Mrs. Mary Powell of Zuni and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday Antioch Christian Church. The Rev. Larry McCall and Dr. R.E. Brittle will officiate. The body will be taken from I.O. Hill and Co. Funeral Home to the church Thursday at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery.
