Mrs. Kate Gardner Buried at South Quay 

  Funeral services for Mrs. Kate Holland Gardner, who died Friday, were 
conducted yesterday at 2 p. m. at the Hill Funeral Home by the Rev. Perry 
Ellis, pastor of South Quay Baptist Church and the Rev. Carl Lee Ousley, 
pastor of the Holland Christian Church.  Burial was in South Quay Church 
Cemetery. 

  Mrs. Claudia Jacobs sang, "Jesus Savior Pilot Me" and "The Old Rugged Cross" 
accompanied at the organ by Mrs. J. Webb Pinner Jr. 

  The casket was covered with a pall of white carnations and white 
chrysanthemums. 

  Pallbearers were Clifton Henry Holland, Jack G. Holland, Charles Eure, 
Gordon Eure, Wesley Byrd, P.O. Duck, Emmett Harrell and Louis Duke.
