Main St., died Wednesday morning in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital. A native of Suffolk, he was a son of William Julian Garnett, Sr. and Mrs. Lucy Norfleet Garnett. He was a graduate student at the College of William and Mary, Williamsburg. He was a 1976 graduate of William and Mary School of Education. He was a member of Kappa Delta Phi Fraternity and New Covenant Church, Williamsburg. Besides his parents, survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Virginia Garnett Wall and Mrs. Hanna Garnett Soule of Suffolk. A funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in Cedar Hill Cemetery by the Rev. Mark Youndt. R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home has charge. Memorial donations may be made to Nansemond Suffolk Rescue Squad.
