Mrs. Effie J. Hargrave

SUFFOLK - Mrs. Effie Joyner Hargrave, 89, of 607 W. Washington St., died 
Friday morning in a hospital.

A native of Nansemond County, she was a daughter of Josiah and Mrs. Nancy 
Taylor Joyner and the widow of John V. Hargrave.

She was a member of Bethlehem Christian Church.

She is survived by nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in R. W. Baker & Co. Funeral 
Home by the Rev. Carroll W. Lewis and Dr. R. E. Brittle.  Burial will be in 
Bethlehem Christian Church Cemetery.  The family will be at the home of 
Clifton Joyner of Latke (sic) Cohoon Road, Suffolk.
