Rites Are Held For Mrs. Hobbs 

  Funeral services for Mrs. Dora Nurney Hobbs, who died in Waco, Texas, were 
conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the I.O. Hill Funeral home by Rev. John C. 
Mitchell, pastor of First Baptist church.  Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery. 

  Pallbearers were L.E. Forrest Sr., L.E. Forrest Jr., Ray E. Goodman, John 
Thomas Craigs, Herbert M. Faison, Jr., Horace E. Harrington, Cecil Riddick, 
J. Frank Culpepper Jr., Howard Mizell and Peter E. O'Neal.

b. 8 May 1884, Hertford Co., NC, d. 27 Feb 1962, Waco, McLennan Co., TX, 
interred in Cedar Hill Cemetery (Block I, Lot 73*), Suffolk, 3 Oct 1962,
