Hill Funeral Home by the Rev. Julian S. Hopkins and Dr. Murray Kantor. Mrs. Webb Pinner played on the organ "What a Friend We Have in Jesus," "Jesus Lover of My Soul," and "Rock of Ages." The pall was of red roses and white carnations. Pallbearers were Melvin Loveland, W.F. Whitley, Verlie Evans, H.R. Lowe, F.A. Skillman, P.H. White, C.H. Smith, and Graham Harrell. Friends of the family served as honorary pallbearers. Interment was in Cedar Hill cemetery with Masonic rites at the grave.
