Haskins Dies at Age 60 Lee Overton Haskins, 40, of 211 Grace Street, died this morning at 4:40 o'clock at a local hospital after a long illness. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Patty Mayes Mosse Haskins; a daughter, Mrs. Phil Moser of Blacksburg; two sons, Gordon Pughes Haskins of Suffolk and Hatcher Jones Haskins of DeLeon, Texas; a sister, Mrs. Alva Haskins of Philadelphia; three brothers, William A. and Horton Haskins, both of Richmond, and Nathaniel T. Haskins of DeLeon, Texas, one grandchild, Patricia Moser of Blacksburg. A former resident of Richmond, he has been employed by the SAL Railroad Company for the past 14 years. For the last 18 years he was agent and telegraph operator at the SAL office in Suffolk. Four years ago he was retired. He was a member of the Main Street Methodist Church and of the Hiram Lodge, 340, A.F. and A.M. The body was taken to the Hill Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
