Walter Hosier, 93, father of a Richmond man, died Thursday at his home in St. Petersburg, Fla. He was a Suffolk real estate and insurance man until his retirement about 20 years ago. Mr. Hosier is survived by three sons, J.W. Hosier, Jr., of Richmond; H.D. Hosier, of Suffolk, and Robert H. Hosier, of Lebanon, Tenn.; a daughter, Mrs. W.B. Underwood, of Greensboro, N.C.; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held in Suffolk at a time to be announced. SUFFOLK, Feb. 19 - A funeral service for J. Walter Hosier, formerly of Suffolk, who died Thursday at his home in St. Petersburg, Fla. will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church here, with burial in Riverview Cemetery. Jas.
