Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the Hill Funeral Home by the Rev William Henry Corbitt, pastor of Hillcrest Baptist Church. Burial will be in South Quay Baptist Church Cemetery. She was a member of the Holland Baptist Church and wife of the late William Henry Howell and daughter of the late James Eley and Martha Whitfield Eley of Nansemond County. She is survived by a son, Joseph D. Howell of the home; a sister, Mrs. Ida Eley Reed of Holland, and a brother, James Henry Eley of Holland.
